The Phonics Matching Game
Many letter combinations share the same sound, such as:
'oi' & 'oy', 'igh' & 'ie', and 'ay' & 'ai'.
Use this fun game to break up your lesson and provide phonics practice.
3 Ways to Use These Cards
1) Use the cards for a traditional matching game.
2) With the cards face up, set a timer for 2 minutes, and have your student
find the matches before time runs out.
We call this the "2 Minute Challenge"!
3) Use as flash cards for drills.
Cards are 2.5” x 1.75”, 165 lb, & coated for durability, much like the common poker deck.

The Silent 'e' Matching Game
Often students will have trouble with short vowel
words and similar long vowel words.
This game will help reinforce how a vowel can make another vowel long.
Note that not all cards are shown in the picture.

Neighborhood Phonics
Get your student to read nonsense words for phonics practice.
Create new words, and new neighborhoods, with these colorful cards. Students love to compete with each other, or with their tutor or
teacher!
There are three decks of cards that coincide with our reading program.
36 cards per deck.
For durability, they are professionally printed on cards the same as the common poker deck.
Objective: To create as many real words as possible.
Step 1: Separate the cards into two piles:
a beginning sound pile (left) and an ending sound pile (right). Lay them side by side so that words can be formed.
Step 2: Player one reads the word that the two cards make. If it is a nonsense word then the player one removes the card
that he or she thinks will most likely make a REAL word. If the new word is a real word, the player takes the two cards.
It is now the next player’s turn.
Step 3: The next player reads the new word that is revealed, repeating the process in step 2.
Step 4: When the last card from any of the two piles is used, the game is finished. Count your words to see who has the most.
The player with the most wins!

This game comes with 6 bingo cards (5" x 5"), with sounds on both the front and back, approx.100 plastic bingo markers
(colors may vary),
and 70 sound pieces.
This bingo game is unique in that it does not use words, it uses only sounds,
such as: /ar/, /ong/, /sh/, /ph/, /oo/, etc.
The sounds on the bingo cards correspond to our reading programs;
the purple sides are for the basic sounds covered

This is a set of 54, 2.5" x 3.5" coated cards (the size
and quality of a regular set of poker cards).
