Phonics Evaluations

Our free phonics evaluations can be used to determine where your student needs help or if your student needs intervention with an Orton-Gillingham based reading program. We offer two evaluations; one for very young students, in kindergarten to first grade, and another for second grade (age 7) to adult.

Both evaluations have two parts; one for the instructor and one for the student. Once you print the PDF, separate the two parts and read and follow the instructions on the instructor pages.

If you're using one of our reading programs, we recommend to do an evaluation before and after the program is implemented, so you can see your student's progress.
